This cycle I am on Clomid + Bravelle prior to IUI #5.  I have a repeat HSG tomorrow and will be going in for a monitoring u/s on Thursday.  

 QOTW: I read all 3 of the Fifty Shades books.  I liked them, but I don't think they are all that amazing to justify how much they have taken off recently.

Had my lap this past Wednesday. They were unable to repair my left tube, so they removed it. The right tube is not only open, but the inside lining is still viable, so it's a good tube! And there was absolutely NO evidence of Endo! Will be pursuing treatment on my own (hopefully) by January-ish.

 QOTW: Yes, I read 50 Shades of Grey. I thought it could have been written better, but I will read the rest of the trilogy.

Hi Zookie and 3T!! We're starting back down the treatment road. We're going to be looking into Natural Cycle IVF- I still have lots of questions and we're not sure we'll use that option, but we're going to at least explore and educate ourselves.

Update: Friday was my CD 3 blood work for IVF. Tuesday will be my SHG, mock transfer, and cervical cultures. This is our last "break" month before our IVF, so I am trying to enjoy it to the fullest. I will begin BCP at the beginning of June.

I'm still on a break - but today is CD1 which is exciting since my body is so screwed up after a failed IVF.   It was a 47 day cycle - but 15 days ago I had EWCM - so I think I did O it was just delayed b/c of the hormones and cysts coming off the IVF.    I think we will wait one more natural cycle before starting back up with something.   More exciting than that - we are leaving on a much needed vacation this Friday!!! whohoo!!!!!!

QOTW: When I first heard about 50 I wanted to read them - but now I don't think I want to anymore.   I've read some mixed reviews - and its really not my type of book that I enjoy.  maybe I will read them though....

I go in for my first monitoring appt of this cycle tomorrow.  DH and I are considering IUI - but he's not sold.  I sure hope the  increase to 100 mg of clomid worked!

Hey ladies.  I started spotting Friday night, so I'm pretty sure AF is due any minute now.  So, that will start our testing cycle, and if everything looks good we'll do Femara + IUI the next cycle.

 

QOTW:  I started to read 50 Shades of Grey.  I got to the first sex scene, and I was pretty much done with the book.  I have a problem with erotic fiction that uses the phrase "down there" for a woman's vagina.  Really?  Down There?  And the rest of the writing was pretty much the same caliber.

Of course, after I gave up on it, *that's* when I found out that it originally started as Twilight Fan Fiction.  If I'd known that ahead of time, I'd have saved myself the $10.

Update:  I still hate my RE.  He's not answering my questions.  I looked into some other options, but nothing is working out.  And more delays- I'm most likely going to be out of town this week on CD 3, so I'm going to miss out on getting the bloodwork that I need done.  Another wasted cycle. Started testing in February and hardly anything is done. BLEH!

BFN today on CD13. With having to use DS and being OOP it is just too much money to continue IUI. We will move on to IVF it looks like, but not till next year at this time.

Well I think last Sunday I may have updated that we have to now sit out and just TI until 2013.  So really I won't have much of anything to update for a long time. But I am gearing up to ovulate this week and IDK if first cycle after injects is stronger but I'm surprised at cd10 to be having O pains and first appearance of EWCM.  

QOTW:  I have not read the books.  And because I have a backlog of three books waiting to be read when I'm finished with my current book.  And I'd like to read the Hunger Game series too...I don't see me reading 50 Shades series because I just don't have the time.  And mainly because I'm not interested in S&M, or Twilight based fan fiction.  The Outlander series has enough sex for me, and if I want Erotica...I read it online where it's just a short essay... enough to get my engine going.

I've started Provera to induce a period after my miscarriage (never really bled enough after it). I always feel depressed on it, so I'm really counting down the days until I can stop it - next Thursday will be my last pill. Hopefully I'll have CD1 by the next weekly check in so that we can get started again!

Update: I'm on CD4 and day 2 of Clomid for IUI #2. I'll start the Menopur injects on CD7 and the Estrace on CD9. I'm an early O'er so I'm going in on CD10 for monitoring.

QOTW: I have read 50 Shades, and I wasn't a fan. Like other PPs are saying, the writing is terrible and even the sex scenes aren't very creative. *Spoiler* It turned into more of a love story and while that's fine, it wasn't what I was expecting. I read the 2nd one just (which further cemented the love story aspect) because I like finishing things, but I haven't been able to force myself to read the last one. I also didn't realize it was Twi fan fiction before reading it, but it makes perfect sense. Very Bella/Edward-ish.

Holy cats, I have an update!!  We met with the RE and we have an IUI protocol!!  We are aiming for June, finances depending.  I'm on Metformin for weight loss now and H needs to do a repeat SA and they will freeze it as a backup just in case because his numbers from the last SA are on the cusp.  I'm finally optimistic!

We went to the Urologist this week, my H's SAs came back just fine.  The doctor was a peach and looked at me and said, "with numbers like this, he is not the reason you are not pregnant, it must be you.  Your tubes must be blocked or you have bad eggs."  Awesome thanks.

I have not read 50 Shades of Grey yet.  I am thinking about it though.

IUI #7 was another BFFN! DH and I have decided to take a break and seek out a second opinion. It looks like we will be heading down the IVF path, just not sure if we'll go with my current RE or a second opinion RE. We are also looking into a clinical study for IVF as well.

QOTW: I have not read 50 Shades of Grey and I am not sure if I will or not. I've heard mixed reviews and I am just not sure if I would really like it or not.

Hi, I think I was dropped from the list because I was on a bump break but I'm here now:

Treatments:  I'm on my 4th cycle of b2b IUIs with clomid and trigger

I had my IUIs on Thursday and Friday and now I'm in the 2ww.  This is our hail mary IUI cycle because if it doesn't work it's on to IVF next cycle.

We have 13 embryos! 5dt is on Wednesday. I can't wait to find out the status of the embryos then.

QOTW: I have started reading 50 shades of grey. I think I'm about half way through. I like the characters although it's very different from anything I've ever read before. I may read the other books too.

This cycle got cancelled due to my positive Cystic Fibrosis screening. DH just did his blood work yesterday so we should know more by the end of the week. So the end of May is when we should be starting meds for our first IUI.

 

QOTW: I have read all 3 books and I loved them,  I love Christain and can tolerate Ana she seems kind of whiny sometimes. As for Christian I think it's about the tortured soul thing that I love and want to help him, sick I know.

No updates. I'm 2 dpo and just a waiting. QOTW- I read the first one and I'm 3/4 through the second. At first I wad mad that its a love story and just wanted someone to beat that chicks ass. What can I say? I was expecting more from it Lol but alas, I'm a sucker for a love story. So I'm ignoring the writing and find myself liking it.

No official diagnosis/treatments yet. Saw the RE for a consult/ordered blood work earlier this month so we won't have all that info in and a follow up appointment for a few weeks.  But it feels somewhat reassuring to be around people who understand.

Currently 5mg Femara and TI, hopefully just a few days from O. P4 Blood test with additional tests will show if something is wrong with blood clotting and we can figure out if anything is needed to help prevent another miscarriage. 

 QOTY: I read the fifty shades series and really liked the story. The writing style was interesting, and I loved the parts about how her inner goddess reacted to situations. All in all, it was enjoyable and I would definitely read them again.

Update: Finished part 2 of the chickenpox vaccine - which means in two weeks, we can be submitted to the clinic board and they will determine the next step for our IUI.

I called the fertility coordinator as I was leaving Kaiser and left her a message because I was so happy to be done with it (rewarded myself with a  Balinese massage yesterday at the Grand Californian).

Still hoping we can do IUI No. 1 in June. (my mother had a dream that my best childhood friend came to her and told her I was pregnant -- she called and left a message asking if I was. Apparently I need to re-explain to her how this all works).

QOTW - I haven't read it, but I want to.
