Today I decided I will request the day off on June 21st, my EDD. I am irrationally nervous that my boss will say or think "you're still hung up on that? geez, it happened 6 months ago". He's been nothing but supportive of me so there is no reason for me to be nervous. Hopefully he won't even ask why I need the day off, but it's kind of random (a Thursday) so he might ask if I'm going somewhere special. I plan to be honest if it comes up and just say "It was my due date and I would like to spend it with my husband." Wish me luck!

Re: Requesting a little encouragement
I think that is a good plan. I am glad that I was not at work on my EDD. Spending the day with her H is a great way to heal. Since he is aware of your loss, I do think being honest is a good plan. I can't seen anyone rational person having a problem with taking that day off!

Good for you! I have been thinking of doing this as well. My date was June 18th. So not too far off from yours.
We are going to NYC the weekend before to try to take our minds off things.

All of this. But if it were me, and he asked, I'd say, "for nunya." and he'd say, "what's nunya?" and I'd reply, "nunya bizniss!" But maybe don't do that if you like being employed.

I noticed this in your siggy after I met you last Sunday. Crazy! Needless to say I'll definitely be thinking of you that weekend too. ((((Hugs)))) in return.
I totally agree.
