Hi all-
I am not on here frequently, but have a question I'd like your input on. I just had my OPK turn positive last night around 9 pm. Question is, do I do the IUI this afternoon about 19 hours after the positive or Friday morning about 37 hours after the positive. I'm concerned if I go too early the sperm won't last that long since it's frozen and if I'm too late it's after ovulation. The books seems to say earlier is better...thoughts?
TIA!
Re: Timing question: IUI with frozen sperm
If you're doing IUI, isn't a doctor monitoring your cycles?
Or do you mean IVI or ICI (both of which can be done at home)?

gotcha. I'd telephone your doctor's office and ask their advice. They're the most familiar with your specific case.
(We're using frozen sperm too, so I totally understand the angst around timing!)
Hi again! Thanks for the advice! The Dr. thought it was fine to do it today since I surged some time between 8 am and 9 pm yesterday so we did our IUI around noon. He did an ultrasound right before just to check everything out and since I've had 2 chemical pregnancies I figured why not. 1 really good follice (23 mm I think) and the lining looked good. So here I am in the 2ww again - I hope it goes fast!
Thanks again! Love and baby dust to all!
