3 different kinds of formula?!

So I have heard that you aren't supposed to switch up a newborn's formula, unless there's a reason to (like gas, spitting up and constipation).

Well my LO is only 2 weeks old today and is BF and FF. He has mostly been getting Enfamil for newborns, which he doesn't have a problem with. But when we're at our friends' home, I have been giving him Similac (because I accidentally left the Enfamil at my house).

THEN my SO tells me he has been using a different kind of formula when we're at the same friends' house! (Gerber formula) So far he doesn't seem to be having a problem with any of these different formulas, he usually only has 5 bottles of formula in a 24-hour period and the rest of the time has BM.

Is there anything wrong with what I've been doing?

Re: 3 different kinds of formula?!

  • No nothing wrong with it but it could be upsetting the little guys belly. I know when we were trying to find a formula for the little guy they told us that it could upset his little belly. But no there's nothing wrong with it

  • Yes, there is. Breastfeeding while you smoke weed is bad for your baby.
