I like both names, but I vote Samantha.

FWIW, I would pronounce Gabriela differently from Gabriella (gab-ree-AY-la vs gab-ree-ELL-a).  Not sure other people would though.

I'm a Samantha and I love my name. The only thing I don't like is Sammy, but it is so rare that I hear that. My vote is Samantha!

well in full samantha and gabriella (i don't like the one l honestly) are lovely! but i hate both nicknames---sam/sammy and gabby.

I named one of my girls Gabrielle (nn Gabi).  I'm not a fan of the -a on the end (personal preference).  I do like Samantha though!
