It's been a while since I've had to wear a full business suit with a jacket, and I'm having a hard time finding one that is reasonably priced and looks decent. I've tried major department stores (Macy's, Penney's, Dillards, Sears).
Any suggestions? I need something mid-range (no more than $100, preferably lower), that isn't too terribly hot.
TIA!
Re: NBR - where do you buy your business suits?
100 is really low end not mid range. I would say 250 is mid range that is what you would pay at the Limited, which is nice but not top of the line. I go to the Limited or Ann Taylor but I try to go when they are having sales and I have a coupon to bring down the cost. As the PP said sometimes TJ Max is good also if you have a Filenes Basement. If you live near a high end consignment store sometimes you can find great deals. I see you are in Flordia if you are near Orlando my coworker always goes to the outlets when they are having sales.
I was thinking the same thing. I love The limited suits and some ann taylor lofts.
Definitely agree! Under $100 is really low end and really hard to find in something that's even semi-quality. You'll have to spend a lot of time hitting discount/sale racks and hoping you find pants/skirt and jacket in the same size/color.
I personally prefer to buy nicer classic suits and wear them for years. I like the Ann Taylor suits, but you'd have to hit their sale rack a lot to get a set for under $150-200.
