Flutters

I am curious to know when I will start to gell something pregnancy related.  I haven ot been sick at all, only slightly naseous, by breast have hardly grown and don't hurt.  My mom friends all ask me if I have felt flutters but so far nothing.  I am 14 weeks today and this is my first.  Am I being paranoid?

No. Just lucky, symptom-wise. I had sore boobs with DD, but that's it. If I hand taken NINE pregnancy tests and had an US to rule out ectopic, I'd probably have been in denial for a LONG time. If you're a FTM, you probably wont notice baby moving until its obvious. 16w is when you'll start going hmmmmm, but it'll be 20w or later before you feel baby everyday.

I didn't feel pregnant for a really long time.  And I first felt flutters around 18w, but that's early for a first pregnancy, and I only am feeling stuff so early because my placenta is towards the back instead of the front.  Have you had ultrasounds showing you your LO moving around? That would/should make you feel a little more pregnant!

My last ultrasound showed the right hand was waving. Everythings looked great and normal.  I just don't know what to expect so I worry about everything.

With my first PG, I didn't feel much different until mid-2nd tri.  Oh, except I was depressed during 1st tri, but I didn't realize it until I hit 2nd tri.

I didn't feel my baby move until 20 weeks with #1.

They will start soon enough.  I was exactly 20w when I felt my first movement.  Thought I felt something btwn 15-17, but wasn't really sure.  But at 20w, felt a little kick and hasn't stopped since.  Try to be patient.  Will happen.  I know easier said then done!

I don't think you could feel flutters at 14 weeks especially if this is your 1st. I had very little symptoms when I was pg with my dd. I didn't feel movement with my dd until I was almost 20 weeks. Hang in there it will happen before you know it!

This is my first, and I have an anterior placenta. This caused me to not feel any flutters until 28 weeks. Like you, I had no symptoms except for hip pain.

I had very few symptoms in 1st tri and didn't start feeling flutters until almost 16 weeks (and my OB said many first time moms don't feel them until 20+ weeks), so tell everyone to back off and stop trying to make you paranoid!!

Only this past weekend, as I hit 19 weeks, did I feel something that may be LO's movement. I'm still not sure and I was starting to feel weird about not feeling anything. This is my first pregnancy and I am happy to see that it's pretty normal to not have felt anything for certain yet. It makes me laugh when I feel something and all of a sudden my world stops stops and I go, "Is that?...I wonder if...?" It's fun to be so "in the moment" even if it's just for a few seconds.
