Its been a rough couple of days, but I'm still alive

Dear friends, I am still checking in from the hospital. Its been very rough going the last days. Hospital fun includes, 4 failed IV's in 24 hrs. Finally the 5th is running- thank the lord. A night of pain and the exorcist when my bowels decided to make a full stop yesterday, resulting in ever charming fetal position on the floor.

Fevers are finally coming down, and the infection is retreating at a snails pace, but retreating nonetheless. Looks like I will be here at least another week. Feeling defeated.

Its now 6dp3dt, and red bleeding has begun, and it is looking like ALL of this was for nothing. Its not t full on period, but more of a very light and bright slow flow. There is a piece of me holding on to hope but realistically, with all the fever and infection, I cannot imagine my embies had a chance. I normally have at 12-13 day LP. so 9 dpo is just so soon for a period, but after all this, I guess I am not totally surprised. I am numb. I fear that no IVF doctor will come near me again, and that this could really be the end of the road for me. GOD I hope not.

I am so sorry that you have had to deal with this, I just cannot image the pain and stress you are under. You are one very tough lady Glueck, if you are strong, then your embies are and Fx that they are still safe and sound.

Its not over until its over and i am gonna kmfx d that you find all of this was for a worthwhile cause when you feel better and are still pregnant. i cant imagine what your going through but know that we are rooting for you to get better quickly and for you to have stubborn little embies who refuse to give up. gl

Oh glueck! It's great to hear from you, as you've been in my thoughts and prayers and I've wondered how you're doing. I'm so sad that you're in this situation and I'm so hoping that you pass through it quickly. As Roxie said, you are an incredibly tough woman and your embies have undoubtedly taken after you. I wish there was something I could do to help ease some of your pain. Does the doctor know where things went awry?

I hate for you to feel like you've done all of this in vain, but I am glad your health is improving. Your husband must be in a panic, too.

If I can help in any way, please let me know. Going through so much so far from home is extremely difficult. I'll continue to send my thoughts and prayers your way. So sorry you've had to deal with yet another set back.
