Do certain songs make you emotional?

So I am sitting in the RE office waiting to be called in to see if my cysts shrunk so we can move on to IUI #6 and the song "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus came on. I seriously had to fight back tears...I feel like it really touches this crazy ride I've been on with IF.(thank god I was the only one in there lol)

Are there any songs you hear and instantly get emotional?

Depends on the day (ie where I am in my cycle and how many hormones I've been taking).  

But Michael Bubble's "I just haven't met you yet" hits hard.  And because of comments an eFriend of mine from here re: her adopted child, the song by Taylor Swift "Ours" reminds me in a few ways of IF in general.  You can feel free to laugh at me for this one because I know it's about young love...but my favorite line is "And it's not theirs to speculate... if it's wrong" because after that nasty letter I got from DHs cousin I feel like yelling this at her.  

Also, DH can get me teary anytime he puts on our song "It's Your Love" by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw or when he put's on Tim's "My Best Friend (You're More than a  Lover".  Aaawwww!

Mine is Michael Buble, too! I walked down the "isle" to "You and I"...love that song. Also, Aaron Watson "Shut Up and Dance."

I am the least emotional person I know but right after my last m/c I was listening to Coldplays "Fix You " and it got me. There is a line in it where he says "Tears stream down your face when you lose something you cannot replace". It seemed fitting.

"My Wish" by Rascall Flats gets me, we played it as our bridal party dance. Also "I Loved Her First" I think Tim McGraw? I might be wrong about that.

Well, songs made me emotional before the hormones... but Yes.  A very resounding, yes.

I am currently on my last two months of living overseas, and Micheal Buble's "Home" can get homesick and crying before the first verse is finished.  And Adele's "One and Only"

I really only listen to a christian radio station in the car so lots of songs do!  Also any song talking about a daughter and father always get me choked up!

Also, Annie Lenox's "Why" gets me every damn time.  I have no idea why.

It all depends on where I am in my cycle.  Anything father daughter related gets me cause i lost my dad when I was 18.  Lately its been wedding songs cause my little brother is getting married in July.  But somedays just about anything will put me over.  I cry at the stupid ASPCA commercials with Sarah McLaughlin playing in the background.

Don't Speak by No Doubt...It came on when I was driving to say goodbye to my grandmother right before she died and now that song makes me so sad!

"I Loved Her First" is The Heartland.  That was our father-daughter dance.  It gets me every time

Also- "Before the Morning" by Josh Wilson and "So Hard" by the Dixie Chicks.

That's right! I remember now. Thanks! My BFF used it for her father/daughter dance too. It's a great choice!

We think of "Just Haven't Met You Yet" as our "baby" song. I have it on my itunes...

We *hope* to use it in a video to tell our family whenever :fingers crossed: we get a positive.

Some days I can listen to it ans smile, some days I have to skip over it.
