Ok so with all the attachement parenting talk today I decided to look it up and sounds to me like it could also be called common sense parenting??? These 8 principles??? Doesn't every family follow these to a certian extent? Maybe not teen mom or 16 and preggo but really I think most of us planned and prepared for pregnancy and birth as much as we could. We all feed out children with love, I hope, weather it's BM or FF. My baby get BM but out of a bottle. I EP and never nursed does that make me a horrible mom or am I off the hook because she is still getting BM? As for the sleeping arrangements, don't we all want what is best for baby? My 4 yr old sleeps in our bed pretty much every night and I LOVE it. My baby....in the crib I am too afraid my DH will crush her or my 4 yr old will bonk heads with her. I can't wait till he's out in his own bed and she's big enough to come in ours LOL. IMO (should have talked about this yesterday for UO Thursday) these labeled "parenting styles" are the PhD's and other so called experts (throw flame...now) sales pitch/tactic to get people to spend money on their books.
