Success after IF

desabean - how are you doing?

Single digits?!?  Give me the full update please!  Any contractions?  progress?  Are you so ready to be done?  meet your little man?

Re: desabean - how are you doing?

  • I'm doing ok, feel pretty good today. I've been getting NST's every week at the hospital and I am always contracting about every 8-10 minutes but they aren't really bothering me too much as long as I can get up and walk (when I'm hooked up to the monitor, they are pretty uncomfortable).  However, my fluid levels went down this week so while they are still "high", I no longer have polyhydramnios and the doctors pretty much convinced me that it was just a fluke and not an indication of a bigger issue...so I am feeling much better about that.

At my ob/gyn appt yesterday I was 1-2 cm but I was that way with G for 3 weeks before my water broke.  So, we'll see.

Sleep still sucks and by my 4th or 5th bathroom break each night I am more than ready to have this little guy show up....but we really are not ready, car seat isn't even installed yet and I think W and I both are feeling really guilty about how it is going to impact G.

Our anniversary is Monday so we are both betting that he will show up then....we'll see.  Thanks for checking in!!

so glad to hear the fluid situation resolved! I'm so excited for you! I hope it all goes really well.

  • butting in too... I was going to post this same thing this morning. I'm ready to go myself and you are closer to your due date than me, so I was wondering how you are doing. Glad to hear that things are going okay.
