DD is 26 months and is about 23 lbs and 35 inches tall. She's a peanut, always has been. How about your 2 y/o?
My daughter is 28 months today and she just went through a growth spurt. At her 2 year old well check, she was only 24lbs and 32 inches. So, about the same size as your kiddo.
25lbs and 35". She is a peanut and still in 18-24 months clothing.
mine was 26lbs and 35" at her 2 year checkup and busting out of her 2T's! she's currently wearing size 3T dresses and long pants though she can get away with 2T shorts and skirts.
36.5 inches and 28 lbs at 2 years.... he really slowed down after starting to walk! He used to be in the 95+ percentile in both- now he's just in height!

I think it's all about build for sure. Tegan is 25 lbs and about 34 inches and she's wearing a combination of 18-24 months, 24 month and 2T clothing. There are some shirts that she needs in a 3T, but for the most part 3T anything is still pretty big. Heck, she has some 2T pants that were still way too long this Fall/Winter and will probably fit her next Fall/Winter.
My peanut is about 23 lbs (about 6 weeks shy of 2). I am not sure on height. Lately she has bearly made the charts at all.
She is in 18 mo pants though some are starting to get short. I am positive come summer she will be able to wear 18m shorts/skirts if not the 12m ones again too. We are moving to mostly 2T shirts though for length.
Funny that some 2 yo's are in a 3T - it seems like I just loved those out of my 4 yo's drawers!
Hannah has never been on the charts. At her 2 year old appt she was 34 pounds and 37.25". At 2 1/2 (ear infection) she was 40 pounds and I would guess she's about 40" tall (they didn't messure her). She now wears 5T shirts and 4-5T pants.

He was 28.8 lbs. and 35 inches at his 2 year check-up. He has always been about 50% for weight and 75% for height. Pretty average. He still swears 24 mo and 2T clothing mostly. He has been in this size for almost a year! His feet are the only thing that keep growing. He wears an 8.5/9 now!

my read shelf:
Go Phils!!
At his 2 year appointment he was 25.5 lbs and 34.5 inches tall
That's weird because my DD (not quite 2) is 24 lbs and about 34.4" and wears at least 2T in most things. She could probably wear 3T in some tops.
They must be very different builds because I don't consider DD a peanut at all.

At her 2 yr well visit last week, DD was a few ounces shy of 27 lbs and 33 inches tall.
She fits into a 2T perfectly and can wear a 3T in some brands.
