I know the one obvious correlation is the Catcher in the Rye character. Just curious if the name stirs up any other nicknames or things I may not be thinking of? I feel like I am teetering on if I really love it or not. I think it would sound good with our other names (SS-Dylan, DS-Wyatt)

I can't think of anything negative, and I do think it's nice with your sibset.
Please don't.

I always want to ask " Holding what?". I live in a place where people always drop the gs from words ending in -ing, so when I hear a name that ends in -en, -in, or -on, I tend to hear the silent -ing.
Someone I know named their kid Holden Cash. I just can't get over that one. How do they not hear "Holding Cash"?
It definitely goes well with your other kids' names. But when I hear it out loud, it makes me think of someone saying "holding" without the G. Like I'm holdin' a glass of water.
I wouldn't side-eye someone for using it, though. There's really nothing wrong with it.
LOVE this name.
This might not matter at all in your region, but as far as other things people might think of when thinking of the name... in the Lutheran world, many will think of Holden Village or Holden Evening Prayer (which is named after Holden Village. I have a Lutheran pastor friend who named her son Holden after their experiences there.
It's definitely not a bad thing..it's a great place:)
I was raised Lutheran (church twice a week) and have no connotation with Holden in that way. I did teach high school English though so whenever I hear someone choose that name I just assume they must be big Salinger fans. It does go really well with your other family names for sure.
I really, really loved this name throughout my teens and early twenties. Sadly, my husband doesn't like it, so it's a no-go for us.
I think it sounds great with your sibset.
