Stim Timing Question - What Would You Do?

Today is day 6 of stims - 150 Follistim + 75 Menopur. 

My RE told me to pick a time between 6-9 pm and give myself my injections at the same time every night. I chose 8:30 because I give my Lupron at 8:30 am.

Every night on stims I have either been at home or at my mom's house so injections were no problem. But tonight, I am going out. Nothing fancy. Just a basketball game with some girlfriends. So, here's my question...

Would you give yourself the injections at 7:00 pm before you go out or wait until 8:30 when you normally do them and inject in the bathroom at the arena? 

And this question is a two-parter - would you mix your Menopur in advance or in the bathroom? (By advance, I mean 2 hours tops)

I am leaning towards pre-mixing the Menopur and injecting in the arena bathroom. Just curious what you would do.

Definitely do it before hand. Mixing in bathrooms is doable but not fun at all. I was always told there was a window of about 2-3 hours every night that I could inject myself (but that was for IUI).  

I don't think you are supposed to mix menopur that long before you inject it. I can't remember the exact length of time. I am sure someone will know, though.

I would definitely do it before you leave.  I've done injections in the bathroom while out, it's really no fun and I got very frazzled.  I also don't think you're supposed to mix Menopur that long before you do the injection.  You will be absolutely fine doing it a little early.  Have a fun night!

This.  You are still well within your time frame to do the injection.  This way you can enjoy the game and not have to worry about watching the clock.  Have fun!

I once gave myself my injections while driving down the freeway (don't worry, I wasn't driving!) because I wanted to get it at exactly the right time. I think that was probably overkill on my part. If it were a pen, I would take it with you and do it in the bathroom. But since you have to mix, I'd just do it at home before you leave. Have fun!
