Over thinking?

We're not expecting at the moment, but I am always running names by my fiance to see what he thinks. One of the only girl names we have ever agreed on is Delia. I really, really love the name, but I'm concerned about it with our last name, which starts with Crack---. I'm worried that it sounds like "deal ya crack". Does anyone else see it, or am I just over thinking it? (That damn first syllable has ruined so many names for us!!)

TBH, I think most names will sound funky with "Crack-" right after them. It's just a funky name as a LN. BUT, I think Delia is beautiful, and I don't hear "deal ya crack" as my first thought.

Thanks! I agree, it's a real PITA last name. I've already ruled out Harrison (Harry Crack, no thank you!), and Graham, among others. Sigh.

I have a LN that prevents us from using Harrison, as well. It sucks. 

Delia is cute, but I do think that kids will make fun of it.
