I need to send a picnic lunch with DD to daycare tomorrow. She is two and a half and it probably wont be refridgerated. Any suggestions?

Blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby girl on 11/22/2009.
The wait, though heartbreaking, was well worth it.

Re: what to send for a picnic lunch
For my kids, I would send a turkey and cheese sandwich with mustard (sandwich rounds are the hit here, these days), a mini cucumber, some blueberries, snack mix (goldfish, wholegrain cheerios, wheat thins, dried peas, raisins) and a a sippy full of ice water. I stick a couple ice packs in there, too.
I wouldn't hesitate to send cheese sticks or even yogurt sticks. You could even freeze the sandwich tonight and use it to keep the other food cold as it defrosts or you could use an insulated bag. If my kids have a special day, I might throw a cookie in there.
I would do a sunbutter sandwich, carrot sticks, an applesauce pouch, and string cheese. Maybe some crackers as a backup.
