Some days I particularly hate my uterus and all those other great baby making parts.
I was on BC for 5 years (various pills + shot for year and a half). BEen off for a year and never had my period. January the OBGYN gave me provera which gave me my period, then found out I was not ovulating. So Feb/March had provera again and Clomid. I had a blood test yesterday (cd21) to see if I ovulated (which I have read a lot on here saying its not completely accurate- I tempted and took ovulation tests everyday for like a week and I got nothing). I find out the results today but 90% sure it will be a no.
SO, anyways I have horrible cramps today. I used to get horrible horrible cramps where I'd throw up for two days and basically be in the fetal position the entire time- which is why I went on BC. I'm not suppose to get my period for another week (if it comes on its own for the first time). I just feel like if I am going to have horrible cramps and likely not go to work, I should at least have my damn period.
Did anyone have cramps with clomid when they ovulated when they've never had ovulation cramps before??? It feels very much like my period though so I don't know. Just angry with my uterus, so thanks for the vent.
Re: stupid uterus....
I had my first round of Clomid this month and I had cramps on O day and O+1. Plus, I had some light spotting. I'm not a big cramper- not even during AF so that was totally out of the ordinary.
So, you're not alone on this one
If you were being monitored on clomid like you need to be you would know if you were ovulating and when to take the 7dpo progesterone test for accurate results.
I hope you don't end up with 6 follies and become the next Kate +8 because you chose to put yourself at risk.
