I have been rendered speechless.

My MIL and FIL offered us the $20,000 today for our shared risk.

We aren't taking it just yet, as we may get that insurance coverage, and want to do as much as we can on our own. But man, what did I do to get so lucky to have such an amazing family.

I almost feel nauseous.

Started TTC 2/2009
Started fertility treatments 11/2010
Ovarian dysfunction, LPD, male factor
6 failed medicated IUI's
Pregnant 5/2011 - Miscarriage at 6 weeks due to triploidy
Decided to adopt - 6/2012
SURPRISE! Pregnant without intervention - 7/2012 
Sweet Baby James Born 3/2013
Decided to be "One and Done"

....OR NOT.
Pregnant 12/2018 despite birth control pills
Here we go again...
Due 8/26/19!

    We got the same offer from my in-laws granted it had a few strings attached.  We worked it out and we ended up taking $10K from them which was half their offer.  We felt a little better about that.

    Anyway, I don't know how we'll ever repay them but I feel very blessed that they were so generous.  We couldn't of done it without them. 


    After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
    IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
    No heartbeat at 10w6d
    FET August 27,2012 = BFP!

IVF #2 (Apr 2012) EPP/Antagonist with ICSI - 10R, 7M, 6 ICSI'd, 2F. 3DT = BFN AMH tested by new RE 6/2012 - 2! Saving money for IVF #3.     You've got some amazing in-laws! Mine is currently pouting about giving my SIL $300 for a crib, and the money was never asked for.

    I wouldn't know what to say either. It's great to have support!

    That's amazing Kel! I understand what it's like to want to do as much as possible on your own though. My parents paid all $25k for our shared risk and it was an absolute blessing, DH and I would have never been able to do that on our own.

    Wow! That is so generous! I hope you get the insurance coverage so you don't have to take them up on their offer, but that is amazing if the insurance doesn't work out.
