So since I have been measuring very small the last 3 appointments (33weeks) they are making me get and US to check for IUGR and my fluid level...They dont think there is anything to worry about just being cautious...I have never had a ultrasound past the 20 weeks....has anyone else had one this late? Can you really see the baby of is she to big?
Re: U/s today!
I am lucky and get an u/s at every appointment... to be honest... it's almost a little harder to make stuff out this far along (and im a few weeks behind you even) they fill up the screen more, so the perspective is different (everything is obviously bigger, and more crowded lol).
GL with your u/s! and keep us posted!
Yup, I've had one -- they can do some measurements to get a better sense of how big they think the baby is. But keep in mind, they are not always 100% accurate!! Most ppl I know who have had one say the u/s tech overestimated the size of the baby. Mine did, by about 3/4 of a pound. It's not unusual for them to be off by a pound in either direction, so don't take the numbers as gospel.
