My DH and I are not doing maternity photo's as we just find them kind of cheesy (IMO). We are going to do newborn photos but I was just curious if any other FTM's are opting not to do mat photos.
Not doing them. I have nothing against them, but finding the time to take them just isn't going to happen. And I feel huge now so I don't really want to have pictures taken of my stomach at this point.
I'm not. Alot of people I mention this too are surprised. I have a friend who is due in April and was shocked I wasn't doing maternity photos. But I would rather spend the money on a newborn session. DH is taking weekly bump pics a
Nope, I'm not. My husband has been taking nice pictures of me almost every week, so it's not like the pregnancy hasnt been documented. I dont really want to spend the money or make the fuss. We are definitely doing newborn photos,
We originally did not want to do maternity photos either because they always look so cheesy to me.... but after my sister-in-law had asked if we were it made me think on it a little more. The only way I would consider it was if the photographer that di
We're not taking them either. I'm just not sure how "natural" they would come out knowing they are all pictures meant to accentuate my expanding midsection. We will be doing newborn photos-but by a friend who takes great pictures-not paying a buttload of
We aren't doing maternity photos or newborn photos [which is strange for me, because I'm normally a picture nut!]. The usual maternity poses are just not reflective of DH and I, and I really don't see the point of taking lots of pictures of a sleeping ba
We aren't doing Maternity or NB photos. We considered it, but to be honest, what would we do with maternity ones, besides stick them in an album? Once the baby is born, I feel like I wouldn't want to diplay pics of just me. We have plenty of maternity
Nope not doing them and this is for sure our only pregnancy. I couldn't justify the money and frankly - what was I going to do with them afterwards. I also haven't been comfortable with my body through this entire pregnancy and battled some serious body i
Maternity pictures just aren't my thing. I always love other people's but I couldn't think of what we'd do with them besides put one or two in his baby book. My friend is gifting us a newborn session and she usually does a few photos with the
I am not into maternity photos either (it's not something you want on permanent display after the baby is born... I'd rather spend money on family pictures later) , but we didn't get to visit my family for Easter, and my aunt and grandmother wanted me to
No maternity photos for me. Not for any real reason, I would just rather spend my money on pictures after she is here. I already have the newborn session set up because I really wanted a specific photographer.
We are doing both. While it has been debated I really want this time captured professionally. As far as displaying the photos, I plan on hanging them in DH and my bedroom and one in LOs nursery
I was planning on getting them done, but changed my mind a few weeks ago. I have professional engagement photos and wedding photos. I think it would be silly to get photos done just because i'm pregnant. I don't have the greatest self esteem right now
I agree they are cheesy---if your photographer isn't good. I've seen some that are just beautiful. It all depends. There's a lot of great inspiration photos on Pinterest of more non-traditional maternity photos. I will be doing them because I think it's n
We're not. My SIL offered to do them for us (she did our engagement photos for free), but it just isn't our thing... My mom is taking a ton of photos of me every time she sees me, which is at least once a week. Doing a photo session would just mean mor

I'm on the fence...I would like a few really cute photos but I don't want to spend the money on them. We have not been doing well documentating this pregnancy....I think I've taken 4 side view photos of my belly. I may just have my sister (who did buy a
I don't really do photos unless it's in costume (I used to be a big cosplayer) and there was no way to accurately describe this pregnancy in picture. We will be doing the NB pictures which is super exciting. But I really didn't want pictures of my belly.&
Were not. I am not really a fan. I mean, when I see other people's I think, that's cute. But don't really want one of myself. I feel like I can use the money better elsewhere. I was interested in NB pics but they are soooo expensive. Like over
I am a FTM to a rainbow baby, but I am not doing maternity pics. I have taken pictures of myself through out the pregnancy, but I have no idea what I would do with professional maternity pictures of myself. I would rather have pictures of my newborn and

I went back and forth with it but we decided against it. Mostly because H didn't really want to be in them and I didn't see the need to have pics by myself. We are doing newborn pics though.
Only reason we did them is because we won them. 4 hours of shooting at a location of our choice, and all edited high resolution photos on a DVD for free.
I'm glad we did them as I think they are perfect and I think LO will like to look back
I guess I am in the minority - I did them! One of my close friends is pretty good with her Canon t3, so we took some in the park by her house, and I bought her lunch at Chili's afterwards to say thank you But we didn't pay for them, and I just gave
I'm not doing maternity photos, they're not my thing. We will be doing newborn photos and first year photos, as well as family photos a few months after LO arrives.
Nope. We aren't planning on having any done. To be honest I think I'm just lazy. Would I like some nice pictures? Yes. Do I want to go out and get them done? Not so much.
I do want to have newborn photos done but I still have to look into that. <
