Tonight is the 3rd time I have washed my diapers. Last time I washed, a few of the inserts came out with some light pink discoloration on them. I brushed it off. But now there's more of it spread across several more inserts. What's going on here? I use bumgenius detergent and do a cold wash, hot wash, final rinse. The only thing I can figure out is it might be the red or hot pink gDiapers. But still, those were prewashed separately so why would the colors bleed now?
As a side note, I dislike the gDiapers and plan to sell them. So maybe that will hope?
Re: Pink discoloration after washing-what is this??
I'm going to bet its the g's. The "g pants" are made of cotton, I believe, and are not supposed to be washed in hot water. I used to wash them and the "pouches" separately from the inserts. PITA!
Sorry that they didn't work for you, but glad to have your company on the anti-g bandwagon.
