Weekend plans?

What are your weekend plans?  It's suppose to rain this weekend (again) here in Los Angeles.  It really sucks when the weather is great during the week while I'm stuck at work, yet raining on the weekends when I want to enjoy being outside!  Since I am stuck indoors most of this weekend, I want to live vicariously through your wonderful weekend plans!

    Today:  I am heading off to "Tomatomania" at lunch. It is a travelling thing where they sell tomato plants annually and I love all the choices they have. I need to call my Chiro and massage place and get appointments. Neck feels out and achy. I have stress headaches too which is probably all related.

    Saturday: no real plans but I know that the house needs a good clean. Planting those tomato plants too. Maybe a long walk somewhere with the puppy too!

    Sunday: Again no real plans, rain is coming back to the LA area. Next weekend will be my ER so I am going to give this weekend to DH to do whatever he wants to do. That is only fair, right?

    Have a great weekend ladies!!!!

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    Nothing too exciting, its supposed to rain here too (chicago)

    Fri- go home and clean the house some

    Sat- have to go to the cake store and costco for baking supplies. I make cakes and my nephews first bday is next weekend. We are having a super why themed party!!

    Sunday lunch with some friends and may go to a mediation yoga class

     Enjoy your weekend whatever you are doing!!!

    I am spending most of the weekend with one of my sisters, who is on bedrest after surgery on her legs this morning.  So we will probably watch movies, eat pizza and catch up while she is not sleeping off pain meds.

    Nothing big tomorrow.  Clean the house and work out. Sunday, my nephew's hockey game and then the movies with Bethany1026 to see the Hunger Games.

    Fri - Just got home early from work and can't wait to go do some line dancing and two steppin!! Of course alcohol is in the mix too :) Boss yelled at me...stupid man.

    Sat - Have to work. Actually go and repack my bosses daughter's luggage for a trip to Miama. ( I'm a nanny) Sadly they can't do anything for themselves :(

    Sunday - Roxie your more then welcomed to fly to pittsburgh and clean my house and Juls can bake some cakes...haaha.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    lynn0926- i am obsessed with the Hunger Games! i have read 2 out of the 3 books and cant wait for the movie. Have fun!  i can't see it until next weekend, though due to other plans...

    We actually have a busy wknd, though it will also rain here in SoCal (boo). Tonight we are going over a couple-friend's house for dinner (They have a 1year old but they are not annoying about it and have been super supportive during our ttc. It's funny to have friends with kids who are classified as "not annoying" but i know you guys know exactly what i mean!).

    TOmorrow is our dear friend's bachelorette party - half March Madness fun, the other half downtown bars so that will be cool.

    Sunday is church and we are having another couple-friend (childless by choice!) over for dinner.  

    Isn't it funny how you start looking at your plans and notice who has kids and who doesn't and if you'll be around them? or is that just me? Since TTC, and esp. since IF DX, if there is an event with kids or friends who have kids and are annoying about it i look forward to the event so, so much less.

     

    Me: 31yrs old. In same/sex relationship for 12years
    I'm carrying & we are using anonymous donor sperm
    In March 2012 diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve (AMH = O.67) & IVF recommended

    FET (2 5dt embryos) on 11/5/12= BFP! Beta #1=58; Beta #2=98, Beta #3=373. First u/s on 11/28/12 = 1 sac with fetal pole & heartbeat! Next u/s = 12/12/12

    TTC History
    IVF#1 (Antagonist Protocol) Sept 2012 = BFN
    10R; 8F; 4 Day5 GradeA embryos. Put back 2, froze 2.
    12 IUIs (in 9 cycles) since March 2011:
    6 unmedicated/unmonitored = BFNs
    3 with Clomid/Trigger/monitoring/progesterone = BFNs

    Seagull for sure!  I always tell MH it all depends on the time of the month...week...day on what mood I'm in. ALWAYS check with me first before saying yes to dinner dates.

    Funny story MH and I went to a small get together months ago. We walked in and didn't realize this get together was the pp that had kids! No lie...12 kids in there small house. They know I like kids (not about IVF) and everyone kept handing me there LO's. Yes I cried the whole way home.

    Saturday: ER in the morning and then lots of couch and tv time for me! Nap too maybe! Sunday: I'm hoping I'll be feeling well enough to go to a dear friends birthday brunch. She and everyone else there knows I'm having my ER on sat, so if I'm not myself they will understand. I'm planning on having DH drive me. I just really hope I can make it!

    Weather in NY is suppose to be nice this weekend, but not doing much, have to save money. We will be seeing Hunger Games tomorrow night. Hope its a good flick.
