2+moms: your bump

Just wondering if your bump is different from your previous pregnancies?  With ds, I was very "neat" (do they use this term in the US?) and had a cute little basketball bump.  This time, my bump seems wider and bigger...we are team green but wondering if maybe this means a girl since I am carrying much differently.  I am the same weight/size I was with ds, too, so it isn't a weight thing.

I haven't really noticed a change in my bump...but I guess I haven't really compared to my first pregnancy either.  They do say if you are carrying "wide" it's usually a girl.  Kudos to you for being Team Green...

I carried differently for both of my girls.  Really low for both but my second was more of a basketball rather than a watermelon shape.  I have no idea what this one will be like and we are again team green.

I looked like I had a (huge) basketball under my shirt for my first two.  The belly definitely just went straight out.   I think it's taking on the same shape this time around too, and it's another boy.

I have one of each and my bump was identical for both kiddos.  I did carry my son higher and my daughter lower, but I think that was more of a second child thing than a gender thing (weaker stomach muscles, etc.)  I also measured 6 weeks ahead with DD so my belly would be lower wouldn't it?

We're team green this time and my belly is identical to DD's.  I do think I'm having a girl, but not b/c of the way I'm carrying!

With DD I had a big watermelon belly and gained weight *everywhere.*  With DS it seriously looked like I had a basketball stuffed under my shirt, all belly!  So far I seem to be carrying more watermelon again; can't wait to find out if it's another girl   I do NOT have your patience!!

With DD I carried low/wide- and gained weight all over -- this one is carrying much higher (it's a boy)- he's right in the center of my belly most of the time- so far I've only gained in the belly (plenty of time for that to change LOL)

I am having another girl and my bump is different.  My first bump was like you said, a perfect basketball.  This time it has a butt shape...lol.  It dips in at the belly buttom.  I don't love it but you can find certain shirts that hide it or I wear camis.

Totally the same. Both are boys. I am apparently carrying like I am having a boy according to some but I would not describe it as neat lol. I am not any bigger than I was with the last pregnancy.

I carry wide. The baby seems to wrap around my torso. I am short so this might be the reason as well.

I carried differently for both of my boys.  I was a lot wider everywhere with my first DS and showed sooner (strange).  The 2nd time I didn't pop until about 24 weeks and it is looking like this time will be the same.  I just think every pregnancy is different regardless of the sex of the baby.  I also had horrible m/s with both of my boys.  This time I haven't been sick at all.

Mine looks the same I think, I'm not really any bigger than I was last time either.  But I've also gained a lot less. I gained 40lbs with my son, so I'm assuming I was up at least 15lbs by now, and I'm only up 5-6lbs. This little babe is a girl. I have a square belly though, it doesn't dip in at the belly button unless I am bending over but since my belly button is so deep it makes the front flat.

This is my second and I'm going to hit 14 wks tomorrow, however, I don't look like I have a bump, more like I'm just fat around the belly. My first was 10 years ago so I don't remember much. I'm just praying baby is well & growing in there. My nxt u/s isn't for another week.

that is so good to know I thought only my belly  was square-ish and my belly button  looks  flat too because of its deepness... also i have 2 boys both I carried a little differently probably because the second one was alittle more pointed downward from streched muscels.. maybe its a girl this time... fingers crossed big u/s on 4/5!

I am 10 lbs heavier to start with this pregnancy, so I think that has a lot to do with it.

I am expecting twins .. and my other pregnancies I was sort of small. This time around I am huge! I am the size now I was at 8-9 months! I am expecting a boy and a girl. I never noticed a difference in my previous pregnancies between my girls or my boys.
