So I posted on here about how Maya has hated her 2 carriers and how I was thinking about getting a Maya wrap and you ladies encouraged me to. Well I did and she loved it! She seemed to hate the tummy to tummy but maybe I'll try it again tomorrow, she loves the kangaroo carry though! My only problem is that it doesn't seem like she can sleep in Kangaroo? Also she gets all crooked in it, her top slides toward my armpit, opposite side from the rings... is this because I don't have a part of it tight enough or is this normal and just happens?

Re: Maya loves her Maya! Need advice on it though...
DS would sleep in a kangaroo but usually I would shift him to more of a cradle carry if he fell asleep. I didn't really use it sleepy times though since he was always big and felt more secure in a tummy to tummy. We used kangaroo when out and about and he was more alert.
It's hard to say about the sliding without a picture but I think you a) want to make sure the fabric that is against your chest is tight and high b) her bum is lower than her knees, imagine if you sat in a hammock with your legs crossed c) the front fabric is tight and high, you generally only see their little heads and maybe a bit of their shoulders since they are sitting in a deep pouch.
And honestly, I think my boobs helped keep DS centered in a kangaroo to some degree
but keeping things high and tight is key.
