By 13th I was 32 days into my cycle, which is usually around 3 weeks long, so I told DH I wanted to take a test. The next night I did, and got my BFP!! We've been trying for about 4 months, but it felt like forever! This will be my first baby! I'm scared and excited of course. We could not contain yourselves (neither could my step daughter!!!) so we've told LOTS of people already!! I'm terrified we jumped the gun and I pray constantly that nothing bad happens!
I don't feel much different at all, so I find it so hard to convince myself I'm actually going to have a baby!! My BB are VERY sore though! Uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach. And they are getting bigger already! Otherwise that's my only symptom. I cross my fingers that the experience will be as easy and problem free as possible.
I'm so glad to have this site and all of you to share the next 9 months or so with !!
I just found out yesterday (Fathers day) and we think I am about 4 weeks. I have had mild cramping and extremely tender breasts for the past 3 days and acid reflux started today.
I took 2 pregnancy tests today and they both came back positive. Im guessing im 4 weeks right now. I have an appt with the dr to go get blood work done to confirm. The past couple weeks I have felt exhausted and the past 3 nights I have woken up about 2-3 am super hot, im never hot when I sleep but Ive been getting so hot. I felt neausous last night for a few mins and it went away that was it but today was the first day that I was peeing every hour.
Well, Im not sure how far along I am, but afer taking three test 2 were positive. I have been feeling extra exhausted and tired for the last couple weeks, I'm cramping and have had more headaches in the last week than I have had in my lifetime lol. But I'm excited to go to my OB next week to see exactly where I am.
found out last week so today I'm 4 weeks and 4 days. Just peeing more than usual, boobs starting to get sore, occassional nausea, some dizzines and fatigue..omg the fatigue. Just hit me over the weekend. I may have to lobby for a mid day nap at work!
Tested positive Monday and have been Super crampy today! Other than that, really thirsty & very frequent trips to the bathroom, a little but of queasiness and Gassy! Super excited- this is #4!
We're super excited. I am and will remain concerned about the cramping that I have read is normal during implantation because I had a m/c about 5 years ago even though I had a live birth since then! Other than that, I'm a little tender in my chest...I have wicked heartburn...and some gas (lol).
Hello! I tested positive yesterday (twice!) and am 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant! It's crazy because I was scheduled to go have infertility blood work done yesterday as me and the hubby were trying for a year and a half with no luck. Strange how things work out, and we are so excited! I'm feeling bloated, mild abdominal cramping, fatigue, and I have a headache that comes and goes. Good luck to everyone!!!
I feel pretty great too, I can't believe I'm not even four weeks until
Sunday 8/5 but I have had positive tests since Tuesday (I have a whole
bunch of them so I've tested daily starting on Tuesday). Anyway,
Tuesday was so faint i thought I was imagining it, then Wednesday,
Thursday, and today have each gotten darker into a pretty solid line.
So excited! Had a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks in May that I had tons of
symptoms really early on, but didn't get a BFP until 4 weeks 2 days.
So, this one is altogether opposite!
I am 11 dpo and I have never been pregnant before but what I am having is cramps, headaches, really tired, nausea(morning sickness), cleaning a lot, heartburn, gas,and constipation (sorry).... I had AF July 10th and took SI and also did opks... I am hoping because if so I will be due on my deceased dads birthday... Or death day depending... One is April 14th and the othere is the 18th.... Oh yea almost forgot REALLY itchy nipples(my apologies again for tmi), and they are starting to get sore...
I've been having cramping and lower back pain too...bloated, gas and metallic taste in my mouth. Occasionally nauseous, but no vomiting. Took the pregnancy test a couple days ago and definitely pregnant!! Very excited! I miscarried in 2008 and we've been trying on and off for around 2 years now. I just turned 35 so I am praying for a healthy pregnancy!
I'm almost 4 weeks and I'm suffering from hot flashes (like drenched in sweat), bouts of nausea in the middle of the night, and extreme fatigue on random days. I'm also getting to the point where all I'm eating is fruits and veggies. I had to make myself eat some meat today because I think that me not eating anything substantial is making me more fatigued. This is baby # 3 but I didn't have any of these symptoms last time. I'm hoping things will get better soon.

I found out I was pregnant 4 days ago... I was feeling a bit nauseous on Saturday, bouts of being light headed- took a test on Sunday morning, it was positive... since then, I've felt totally normal. I took two more tests to be sure, all positive. I guess I'm a bit more tired at the end of the day (going to bed around 10/10:30 instead of 11/11:30), and my boobs feel a bit heavy, but not so much tender. This morning for the first time I had some metallic taste in my mouth, and I guess I've had a really good appetite, but no aversions or cravings yet. I have a slight phobia of throwing up, so I'm really nervous for the next few weeks, hope I don't get morning sickness too bad I don't think it's really hit me yet because I don't have many symptoms. I keep expecting to go to the bathroom and get my period.... but the tests were positive. We haven't told our parents yet, want to tell them in person this weekend, it's so hard keeping a secret. At least I told my best friends since they aren't local, it was gonna be a phone call either way! My husband and I are so excited!!! Had been trying for 7 months. Congrats to all the moms-to-be out there!
I'm not sure if I'm having symptoms or if it's all a coincidence... lol
I stopped birth control in May and started prenatal vitamins. My husband and I started trying to conceive August 1st. I got my period on the 5th, ovulated on the 19th... and am due for my period tomorrow. I took a ClearBlue test this morning and got a faint positive. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, because I know a lot can change in the first few weeks... we'll try a First Response tomorrow morning and another in about a week before scheduling an appointment with the doctor. But if I am pregnant... then my due date will be my birthday!
For the past two weeks I've been feel hot all the time and have a lot of bloating. I've also started to get a lot of pimples, which I don't normally have. The biggest thing is I am craving ice pops like crazy. I could eat a million in a day!!
I am VERY tired! I also have random aches here and there, like body aches. I have had ZERO appetite for the past 2 days also. I had some spotting and cramping but that seems to have pretty much gone away. This is my first pregnancy so I'm freaking out over everything. I've ever started freaking out over labor. We have not told anyone yet so I think holding it in and not having anyone to talk to is what's getting to me.
I understand what you mean about holding it. This is I and my hubby's second pregnancy. This time we are not telling anyone till we get pass the viable stage and after we find out the gender. Its hard to keep the good news in though.
I am 4w3d and the only symptoms I have now are breast tenderness and heart burn. This will be our first baby so we are very nervous! Plus the fact that I am a constant worrier does not make things much better! I have spend a lot of time reading up on morning sickness and miscarriage and now am convinced that my lack of ms is not a good sign. Also, I was very tired during the tww but after I found out I was pregnant I seem to have lots more energy...maybe just excited? Anyone else out there want to talk me down from the ledge over this lack of ms?
I just found out I am pregnant at exactly 4 weeks, my reaction...I was in denial, ended up taking 7 tests that night and one in the morning and then went to go get my proof of pregnancy, now two days later I am so happy and ecstatic, its all I can think about. Feeling? Happy, scared, nervous...Symptoms? Well on top of having a cold, which sucks. I have mild to average cramping and a tightness in my side. I am worried a little bit though because I was/am a smoker and when I took my first test and it was positive I threw them away but I smoked a lot before then....
I tested positive on Friday with a very faint blue line, then I took another test Saturday it was positive with a slightly darker pink line, repeated again this morning....and again slightly darker +. So I guess that means I'm preggo! This is month 2 of trying. My husband and I are so excited, but trying not to be, since we have heard lots of bad news from many of our friends that have suffered with miscarriages. We are keeping it on the hush hush until second trimester, with each of us only telling one friend each. Here are my symptoms thus far:
slight cramping in right abdomen
dizzy spell yesterday
very tired
craving protein...vegetarian so I have upped my protein with pb
I'm always emotional, & always peeing every hour...so those are nothing new.
My symptoms thus far have been very light brown spotting (which concerns me a bit) & very light cramping.
I'm very bloated & gassy.
There have been a couple instances of hot flashes from hell!! I feel heat coming from my entire body. I took my temp a couple times just to rule out a fever.
It's been hard for me to fall asleep at night (which is weird considering I've kicked the caffeine)...& the cold I'm currently fighting isn't helping.
I have headaches something fierce! And my breasts feel like they are going to bust open and all I want to do is wear my sports bra! I have anxiety like nobodies business and I'm never like that, I hope that goes away.
UG... I've had a ton of symptoms too. Nausea, can't STAND the smell of hotdogs, even though I love them, hot, headache, sore/swollen breasts, moody, THIRSTY, peeing every hour, and crazy breakouts all over! I've been on Seasonique (bcontrol where you have your period every three months) for 10 years, so I'm really not used to the "normal" PMS symptoms I guess. At least when I feel icky I just remind myself of my little one in there I'm SOOOOO excited. My test came back clear as day as a positive over a week ago... Our parents don't know yet, though our siblings do b/c we wanted to tell both sets of parents together, and wait until my birthday weekend in October to tell them... it's so hard though!
We have been TTC for three months. I have four days to go until testing and have gotten very impatient! I hope we get our BFP to explain away this FATIGUE. I have been SO TIRED the last three days that I feel guilty for napping. Caught a mild cold five days ago, so it's hard for me to count it as definitely a pregnancy symptom. Have also noted that I get teary-eyed easily, am breaking out on my shoulders/arms, had nausea at work two days in a row and noted a couple episodes of dizziness. I hate to be reading into these symptoms, but I do not get nauseous easily. We'll see soon!
Hi there! I'm 4w4d. Took a blood test at the doctor today and will have it confirmed (or not) tomorrow. I had a chemical pregnancy in June and I'm really hoping this one sticks! My symptoms are much stronger this time around. Started in week 3 feeling like the flu was setting in--headache, body aches, and congestion. Didn't think much about it but have had several dull headaches this week. I feel queasy after I eat and more in the afternoons/evenings. My vision has been blurry and just today my chest became extremely sensitive and every move seems to hurt.
I have been EXHAUSTED for the past week. I normally sleep 8 hours and have no need for an alarm clock in the mornings--just wake up naturally. For the past week, I have slept 9-11 hours every night. I crash much earlier at work, around 1pm, and once I'm home and have had supper, I'm ready for bed between 6 and 7 (though I make myself stay up until 8 and then go to bed). I have never slept this much!
Another thing (that could possibly have nothing to do with the pregnancy) is that I have had extremely vivid dreams every night for the past week/week and a half. I wake up feeling like it was real and I can remember everything that happened in the dream. When I googled it, I did find some articles that said this can sometimes happen when you're pregnant, but obviously not one of the common, slightly more reliable symptoms.
Hi ladies! I'm 4 weeks today. I am freaking out in everyway possible. This is my first pregnancy and although it was not planned, my husband and I are very exciting! For the past week I have had some mild cramping (which scares me), headaches, and some faintness. I was excited so of course I told everyone and now I'm just praying to the Lord that I don't have a miscarriage! Too many weeks left for me not to think about it lol but I'm doing my best to stay positive!!
4w3d and super excited! We stopped with birth control 3 years ago! Needless to say, despite most things I've read, we couldn't wait to share our news. Symptoms started as all the regular period stuff, sore breasts, cramps, tired. I started spotting and that's when I decided it's time to test...twice! The most noticeable symptom right now is sleeplessness, very tired but tossing & turning all night, also waking up many times. Saying my prayers and staying positive! Congrats to all!
I just found out that i'm pregnant yesterday morning and I'm more excited than ever. I tested myself after only a few days after my missed period and due to the fact that my breasts have been ubber sensitive! I've also noticed random tired spells and bloating the last couple of days. Other than that I feel pretty good.
This is my first pregnancy. I'm 35 and about 4 or 5 weeks pregnant.I feel tired frequently, sore breasts, I have to get up and pee every night, tired legs and slight cramping sometimes when I sit and get up. It's strange I'm craving chocolate less which is weird because I love chocolate. I've switched to decaf coffee from regular which is difficult but I'm doing fine, surprised I haven't had any headaches! Good luck to all the mommies to be!!!
So happy to hear everyone's symptoms are like mine! First pregnancy so I'm freaked out a bit. Little over 4 weeks now. I knew about a week ago I was pregnant when I woke up in the middle of the night to pee. I'm a very deep sleeper and don't get up for anything! Second night in a row confirmed it for me. It's exhausting but it seems to be normal. Peeing all the time, super bloated, gas, lower back pain, nipples sore. My 7 year old step son loves to cuddle on my chest. It's killing me, but I sacrafice for him. The cramping started yesterday. Made me nervous but there was no bleeding. Glad to read on here it's normal. Exhaustion is ridiculous! I fell asleep at dinner on sat. I'm so tired by 5! It's hard to slow down when u have a 6 9 year old but I'm trying.
Hey ladies! Looks like the first posts are about due!! So excited for you as you welcome your little ones into the world!! :-) This is my first pregnancy. I'm 30 years old, and just got my first ever BFP yesterday! :-) I've been a little queasy here and there. That thing I've noticed most is my mid-back is extremely painful on the right side of my spine. Is this normal? It doesn't seem like the most common symptom. The smell of coffee is starting to make me nauseous. And I'm definitely gassy, bloated, and "full" feeling. Hard to believe it's only the size of a poppy seed!! Hope all are healthy! :-)
BFP #1-11/14/12 Missed M/C at 10 weeks D&C 12/24/12 Hopeful for rainbow baby in 2013!
I just went for my ultrasound yesterday and found out that I actually ovulated late so I am not 8 weeks but 4 and change. Excited to be prego but it was a tough day. Feeling very bloated and my boobs hurt more in the morning. If I don't eat when hungry or if I workout my cramps are worse. Excited to be here. First pregnancy so a bit nervous.

Your symptoms sound very familiar!! I have been up super early and to bed extremely early. Also, the day before I tested positive I had a very vivid dream that my test came back positive! Congrats to you:
