Lillebaby EveryWear carrier

Thoughts? Considering it, to replace an Ergo I was given, because it seems to be lighter and more flexible fabric. Also like that the forward facing front carry option would be available. I'm 5'2" and I feel like the waistband on the Ergo is too wide and bulky. DD will be 2.5 when #2 is born and I anticipate wearing #2 more than I did DD while out and about.

Thanks for any opinions!

  • I've never heard of the carrier, but you may want to do some research before deciding to wear them forward facing. Even the carriers that support the legs properly still have the spine in a not so great position. https://www.bobafamily.com/blog/2011/10/11/nine-reasons-not-to-carry-your-baby-facing-out/

  • My BFF has a Lillebaby and loves it. I gave it a try. I am under 5'2 and Ergos feel to big for me, so I know what you mean. The Lillebaby is indeed floppier than an Ergo, as you mentioned. Personally, I think that means it is less supportive, and I didn't care for it. But, I am not a big SSC fan in general, I think that wrapping is the most versatile and supportive option. But, back to SSCs. Have you tried a Beco? Those are supposed to be better for shorter moms, but they are even more supportive than an Ergo thanks to an internal harness. In terms of front-facing, I agree with PP. Front-facing is not best for your back or baby's position If baby wants to see around, a back carry is a better option.

My BFF had baby 2 and continues to love her Lillebaby. Different strokes for different folks!
