Its funny you bring this up, because I just read it and texted Rosie about that redic birthing gown.
I will admit, she is rocking it...but I honest to goodness did not think of a gown like that, because..ya know I was gonna get blood and crap all over it, why bother!? This woman is a trip.
I do like the fancy hospital gown. It just would not have occcured to me to do anything to look cute during labor. I was hanging onto the rails of the hospital bed for dear life and cursing and moaning my way through each contraction.
I wish I had the guts to post a pic of me. OMG, birthing gown or not, I was hot mess in my crooked glasses and look of sheer panic. LOL. I don't think a birthing gown could of helped. lol

lol, I cursed a lot too, which I generally do not do in front of people I don't know well. I did shout at someone too.
Oh man...looking back I remember the pain being sh!tty, but I bet it was 20 times worse than we remember, right? lol
I relate to her barfing. I did (during transition). Right after that is when I got my epi and felt like I regained control of my body and the experience. Up til then it was just a wild ride and I felt like it was an out of body experience mentally, with full pain physically.

Did you ever write a birthstory on here? I'd like to read it. Cuz i'm nosey, I guess. lol
Oh I love Elena... She's the cherry on top of my boring day That company name "Pretty Pushers" is amazing, haha. It's cute but I actually think it looks kind of slutty. Most hospital gowns are though huh? I just never thought of them like that until I looked at hers with the slit down the front and the open back..
We should all post birth stories! Mine are super boring though.

I doubt it! They are all interesting to see how it compares to each others. Its neat to see the different experiecenes. At least I think so anyways!

I've seen the Pretty Pushers before, but never noticed that they were open in front. Is that for the monitor? My hospital gown did not open in front.
I totally had plans of taking a shower and a bump pic before going to the hospital. I'd always heard about these long labors where people have contractions and stay at home as long as possible. Within thirty mins of my first contraction, I knew we had to leave NOW. There was barely enough time to finish packing the hospital bag. I look horrid in all of the hospital photos. I'd been awake for over 24 hours when DD was born. Hopefully with this one I won't be so naive... and maybe I'll shower every day. Just in case.
It is funny, I thought about getting a fancy hospital gown..I'm glad I didn't. I bled like a mo fo. It would have been a waste. I also had an epi. I had intended to go natural, but it turns out I'm no hero. After a million hours of painful contractions I tend to beg for the sweet stuff apparently. Afterwards I told the anesthesiologist that I loved him. I still do, he holds a special part of my heart.
I see she finally posted Part 2. So she did get the epidural.
She reminds me of this Russian girl who works in our company - the girl is soooo high maintenance. I feel like a frump next to her. Luckily she is at corporate so I rarely have to see/deal with her.
