So my lovely DH fixed the computer. He did a complete system restore. Of course I lost the thousands of pictures I had on here because we never backed them up. But I guess it's a small price to pay to have a working computer without having to go out and buy a new one.

    Oh ya, I learned the back up game when my laptop died the first time and I lost 90% of all my good stuff. I had a ton of crap on the desktop, random files, folders all sorts of disorganization. DH got back what he could (mainly old work stuff, boo).

    I'll keep giving mine CPR and restoring it to new until I get a new one. If it dies during the day, I switch to DH's laptop. And let's be honest, I really only use it for Firefox these days anyway.

    We have three computers and we're down to one. He wanted to just go out and buy another one but I told him that if he thought that he could get this one working then that's what he was going to do. I know his tricks...he wanted to buy himself a new computer and leave me with nothing. I think I bothered some people on 2nd tri when I called their siggies lame. Maybe I'm losing my sense of humor? Or it could be that I'm in shock that I'm 8 months pregnant and I'm scared to death lol.

    Eh, I actully think they are more annoyed by Parks (I think it's Parks) response calling it disgusting. Yesterday Pivey posted to 1st tri that "Dildo-cam" was a lame term, they got all up in arms too. Maybe we are all officially humorless cows.

    "Dildo-cam"? Ew. I'm assuming it's in reference to the internal u/s wand? So this is our fate? Humorless cows? I wish I had known before I signed up for this gig.

    Rumor is that humor comes back once babies sleep through the night, but I can't confirm this.

    I started the dildo thing by saying that I hate the term, in reference to a 1st tri post. Piv went to share with them that it's a disturbing term but they all defended it. Something about "with all the time I've spent with it, it will always be 'dildocam' to me". Hmmm... ok.

    I've spent a lot of time with tampons in my life but I don't call them "dildo-pons". Or my gyno the "dildo-doc".

    We get our sense of humor back?! Oh how wonderful! I'm sure it will be forever altered though. Like we'll find it hilarious when our kids pee all over us. Well...we'd probably find that funny regardless.

    Poo in the mouth=never funny. I knew I was going to regret opening that post but I did it anyway. I'll never be the same. Now that I think about it, my nephew did pee all over me way back when and I thought it was pretty hilarious.
