Gifts for 3YO DD Bday

Looking for gift ideas, her birthday is so close to Xmas I find that we are kind of overloaded on toys right now and I'm having a hard time thinking of gift ideas for her.  Any ideas are appreciated - especially those around and under $40, as I have several family members asking.  Thank you!

    DD's list is casual dresses with leggings, a tea set, a big dora doll, some princess DVDs, trains, maybe some tools, the fresh beat band CD, some learning game with letters and numbers,

    I always like consumables- like art supplies like play dough, paint, clay, markers, etc. that won't be sitting around in 3 months.  

    If she doesn't already have a play tent, DD still loves that.

    *  dress up clothes and shoes -- princess, dancer, doctor (including doctor kit), etc.  Still the biggest hit of her bday.

    *  passes to local museums, zoo, movie theater, etc.

    *  books

    *  money for college fund

    *  apron and kid-sized cooking gadgets -- DD loves helping in the kitchen

    *  a tray of the pellets and seedlings with a pack or two of seeds so she can grow her own garden.
