Does giving baby the middle name Layne/Lane make them sound like a street?

While we're not decided on a first name yet, we've recently been discussing the middle name Layne. Im wondering if having this as a middle name makes the baby sound like a street? For example,

Vivienne Layne D or Oliver Lane D

Opinions? Thanks!

I never thought about using it for a boy--so maybe the Lane spelling may be a bit "street like"...I think Laine/Layne for a girl are perfectly acceptable and beautiful!

Don't overthink it.  I like it as a mn.  I am undecided on which spelling I prefer though.

Sort of. Oliver Lane sounds like a street. I love Layne for a girl though. It's on my top list.

I would use Vivienne Lane or Oliver Lane. It's NMS even though I love the names Vivienne & Oliver but I would just spell it Lane for either gender. (I have a friend named Savannah Lane)

I don't think it does- I like the name. You could consider Lainey or Elaine as a similar possibility too.

I had a really good friend in HS named Diana Lane and I never thought of her as having a street type name, I just thought it was in interesting/uncommon middle name. Especially considering most our other friends had Marie, Elizabeth, or Ann as MNs. :)

No, I don't think so.  I never would have thought of it unless you said something, and even now I still like it.  Love the name Lane!

Lane is my FIL's MN.  It never occured to me that it sounded like a street.  It's not the "end" of a child's/person's name, because of their last name, so I think that helps it not sound like a street.  If that makes sense.
