My sister in law and I are both expecting boys this spring. I'm about 10 weeks behind her. We live in different cities and used to email/facebook each other a lot and got along really well when we'd see each other. Since my husband and I announced our pregnancy, she's never once told me congrats or anything -- I post on her FB wall all the time about how I hope it's going well, yada yada yada . . . and she's never responded to me at all. I'm not sure why, it just really bothers me that she's never said a word of congrats to me on being pregnant.

We have a similar problem with my BIL and SIL. We told everyone on Christmas Eve at the different houses. (Only my mom and DH's dad knew before hand) So they said congrats and its about time. Not too excited, but no real big deal. DH and BIL were close when young, but BIL had a baby and got married at 20ish. So their lives just took on different paths. They still talk and email and we see them for special occasions and lunch or dinner sometimes (we live about an hour apart). They have two girls - one 15 and one 11. So everything seemed fine.
DH sent out a mass text and email after our u/s at 18 weeks. Its a healthy baby boy. No reply, no congrats. BIL received the text and email, so no way he does not know or did not get it. (FIL really wanted the baby to be a boy and is super excited.)
So I know alittle of how you feel. It sucks when people act like this and it does piss me off, but there is really nothing to be done. (((HUGS)))
Yeah, that's why I'm just randomly venting. The only time we ever see each other is during some holidays and a few family get-togethers, so it really isn't that big of a deal. So far, we've both been healthy so whateves.
