I keep hearing about the stuff but since I didn't have a vaginal birth never had the need for it. I'm planning a VBAC this time so someone give me the low down please.
It's a pain relief spray. It's mostly for cuts and scrapes and whatnot but it works wonders when your area is all swollen and throbbing after birth. Lol. It sort of numbs you. I used that and ice pads and felt pretty good. I didn't need any pain relief meds.

It's a godsend = ) It's just a numbing spray that helps everything feel a little better after a vaginal birth plus it helps keep the area germ free. I just asked for an extra bottle before I left the hospital and had plenty to last me when I went home.

I didn't have this stuff with DD...you ladies just became my best friends! Add it to the shopping list along with the Depends, jumbo pads and stool softeners. I hope I can get a high school boy to check me out.

I would squirt with the warm water bottle. Then put the pad, line it with the witch hazel pads and spray the dermaplast. Works wonders! I bought all of it at target.

I did this too, but also had some kind of cream that I'd put on top of the witch hazel pads. They gave it to me at the hospital. I don't even know what it was!
Re: What is dermoplast?
I know we have similar products, I think Bactine is one of them.

Looks like you can also buy it on Amazon.com.
Love Amazon. It's my one stop shop for pretty much anything.
