Note to self...bm pumping mentioned

Pumping at work is pretty miserable if you forget your hands-free pumping bra at home.  :(  That is all.

  • When I pumped at work with my first son I didn't use a hands free bra. I would just sit there and relax. In retrospect I wish I had a hands free so I could read or something.

  • I've never used a hands free. I usually hold the bottles with one arm and hold a book in the other. I use the side of the chair to help keep one of the bottles in an upright position.

  • I don't have a hands free pump so I'm bumping from my phone with one hand while cradling my boob in the other. It is not as fun as it sounds. If I had to go from hands free to not, it would definitely suck! I hope you have somenice pictures on your walls.

  • I never used a hands free bra while pumping at work with DS.  I found that if you rest the bottles on your legs and let the pump start after a couple of sucks the flanges stayed on by themselves.  (I used the Dr. Brown bottles so they were the right height).  I then could sit and read, or even pump and drive (I pumped everyday on the way home from work).

  • Try the hairband trick.  I bet rubberbands would work and they're easy to find in an office.

This.  Next time I will just buy one of those bras.

  • Pumping at work is just difficult anyways.  I don't have a hands free pumping bra, and today was miserable, so this weekend there is a trip to BRU in my future during which I will be getting some hands free pumping bras.
