My LO is attached to this one blanket and I feel bad he can't have it at night. He doesn't need it draped over him, just as something to hug. He has it for all his naps. I'm still a little nervous about putting anything in his crib, I wanted to research to see when it is ok to have something in there but I couldn't find anything
Re: When is it ok to put a blanket in the crib?
The conservative recommendation is not until 12 months. I feel comfortable with my DS having one now though. It's a very breathable blanket and he's quite strong and able to roll and army crawl to get around. I am comfortable with him having a blanket and my guy is younger than yours. I co-sleep so if he were to move around in his sleep (and put the blanket over his face or something) I'm sure I'd wake up. I wake up for every tiny noise that he makes, so that makes me feel even more comfortable allowing this.

SIDS recommendations say not until 12 months, which is when they are out of risk for SIDS.
