I was overweight to begin with but I've only gained 23lbs as of last thursday at a little over 29 weeks. I figure as long as I can keep it under 40 i am good. Dr. hasnt said anything about my weight gain, so I am excited about that.
I was normal weight and bmi when I first got preggo. now at 26 weeks I have gained 30lbs. im not going to stress about it. I had gained alot in the beggining due to quiting smoking and was terrified to workout alot with a history of m/c's it has slowed alot. I will probably gain another 20lbs though
27 weeks. and i'm up 10 lbs. but my weight gain didnt catch up until 20 weeks. I'm now averaging about a lb a week. I think i'm on track to gain 25 lbs total if baby isn't overdue.
I have gained 14 pounds at 28 weeks. I started out losing about 2 pounds in the 1st trimester, but now I'm finally gaining at a "normal" rate. My BMI is 22 or 23.
In my first pregnancy, I gained 27 pounds total, and about one pound a week in the 3rd tri.

At my 28 week appointment (which was at 27w3d) I was up 14 lbs. I was on the upper end of an average BMI to begin with so I was "hoping" to gain 25-30 lbs and I hope I'm still on that track!
I started at 146. I lost 8 lbs in the first trimester and now I am 161 lbs. Does the weight gain calculation count from the very beginning (15 lbs), or from lowest point (23lbs)?
I am at 29 weeks 2 days and I'm up 30 pounds. I started with a normal BMI and in really good shape. I'm hoping to only hit 40 pounds gained....and doctor thinks that is reasonable...I'm gaining on average 1 pound per week, but I'm really trying to eat healthier and exercise more to keep myself on track. It will help that I'm giving up sweets for lent
I started with a normal BMI and at my 25 week appointment, I had gained 11lbs. (That was exactly 2 weeks ago). My next appointment is when I'll be almost 30w so I'm curious to see where I'm at then!
I lost 7lbs. in 2nd tri. and until I hit end of 2nd tri. did I begin to gain any of that weight...I have at my last appt. gained the 7lbs. back and gained an additional 6 lbs. So techinically I am only up +6lbs from pre-pregnancy weight. I feel like I am going to gain all my weight in the 3rd tri. As long as baby is healthy and doctor isn't worried...I don't mind if I only gain 15-20lbs. That would be nice. ;-)
Im suppose to gain 25-30lbs with twins...i had a BMI of 22 which i think is normal. ive gained half that at the half way point so i think im on track!
Really?! My OB and all 3 perinatalogists recommended 40-60 lbs with twins. I'm shocked that it's such a drastic difference between what you've been told and what I have!
I'm not sure what my BMI was pre-pregnancy, but I was "normal" weight--slightly on the high end because I'm very active and had a lot of muscle from running, etc. I've gained 19 lbs at 26 weeks with twins, so I expect to be on the lower end of the recommendation.

I was 25.5 BMI so high end of normal/low end of overweight.
At 28 weeks I have gained 10 lbs. They want me to get to 25-35 but since I have 12 weeks left, at 1lb/week I would be 22 and they said that's fine too. I asked and the said I don't have to eat when I'm not hungry (I've been doing that some to gain weight). Mostly I'm just adding about 1/4 cup peanut butter to my snacks (apple, banana) each day so I can add protein and gain a bit more. But in general, I'm very happy with my weight.

This is where I am too. I might be a few lbs less, I'm not 100% sure where I started.
I'm trying to be good - but its SO hard!!
