Anyone had lipolaser done? Or know anything about it?

It's the deal for the day on LS and I'm strongly considering it. I just feel so squishy around my lower abs and my thigh/butt area is a place where I just seem to be getting bigger and bigger. I'm ok with how I am right now, but when I look at my mom's shape, I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle, so if I can get the upper hand then maybe that will help. Does that make sense? Or do I sound like a crazy woman?

  • I don't know much about it but it sounds intriguing. For me though, we're holding off on things I want done until after we're done having kids. I'd be mad at myself if I finally got where I wanted just to have pregnancy ef it up. But what I want has more to do with wear from pregnancy I guess. A tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift will be in my future. I've wanted a reduction for YEARS.

True, but I was thinking that maybe shaving a little off the rear might be helpful now. Then even if I gain weight, I'll just be back to where I am now, rather than worse. I just worry it's going to get away from me one day and I'll be unable to workout enough or control my food intake enough to fix it. That's part of why I'm feeling yuck right now. With the migraines being so bad both pre and post mc, I couldn't work out. And when they are bad I just want to eat eat eat.

  • Just know that with lipo when you lose it in one area you gain it in another.  I am still very happy with areas that I had done but now I gain weight in my arms and back... and I was always very very thin there before.  Personal trainers, weight watchers and possible food prep/delivery is the way to go.

Ive heard that about regular lipo. I was wondering if it was the same with the laser. It doesn't remove fat cells though, just drains them. So my understanding would be that they could plump back up if I didn't stay on top of it. I already workout as much as I can and eat pretty healthy, I just feel stuck with these areas.
