Cashed in my Dork Card today.

Not even 10:30 and already I've reached the limit of Dork for today.

I had to get air put in my tires, the car was yelling at me.  While the man is doing the tires we notice a helicopter circling.  It circles again and again.  The man starts pointing and telling me to look.  It's landing!  Holy crap, the helicopter is landing.  He finishes with my tires, I pay, and I'm on my way.  Of course I drive in the direction where the helicopter landed.  It's in a shopping center parking lot.  They've got the whole lot blocked off with police cars and firetrucks.  It just so happens that I need to pick up our mail and the post office is right next door.  Go get the mail, come back and sit in my car and watch.  They were airlifting someone from the urgent care that's across the street.  It was awesome to see it take off, just randomly from a parking lot. 

To my relief, I wasn't the only dork.  There were tons of cars leaving the parking lot as I was.  People who had been watching like me.  LOL

It didn't hurt that the fireman blocking off the entrance closest to the post office was HAWT.  So are the helicopter EMTs.  I remembered them from my clinical work at the hospital they were flying too.  Yum-o.

My H is a total fire truck chaser.  He's a HUGE dork about it.
