names from hospital board

I am bummed!  Our local hospital recently changed its website.  You used to be able to just look at all the names (and even pictures) listed on the site, but now you have to enter the mothers last name in order to see any babies.  I understand why, but I loved being able to see the names and trends of actual babies in my area. 

Anyways, since I have baby names on the brain, I was searching the local paper for births and it lists the names of parents so I was able to find some baby names.  Ok I sound like a crazy stalker! lol

Anyways, I found some odd names, but also a few that aren't too bad.

Odd/different

Peppermint - girl
Truen - Boy
Lariyah - girl
Swayze - girl

 



OK/
Chloe
Claire
Cecilia
Lilygrace

    Poor Swayze and Peppermint, that's just bad. In this case I don't even care if Swayze is a family name,  it does not belong on a baby girl.

    My local newspaper doesn't even print the birth names of babies anymore. =( Probably because of stalkers like you Stick out tongue
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    Do y'all ever go to On to Baby?  I do occasionally, especially when I'm researching shower ideas (pre-preg), and now nursery ideas.  Anyways, one of the nurseries they featured was for a baby girl named Swazye.  My initial thought was "What a horrible name."

    I know right?!  And Dirty Dancing was one of my favorite movies growing up and even I wouldn't do that to my child!

    AH HA HA!  I know I felt a little creepy doing it, but I want to know who my baby's classmates could be someday! LOL

    Haha!  Peppermint is ridiculous, but I know two people who are nicknamed Pepper.  And I think it's adorable.

    Um Peppermint is most definitely the worst name I have ever heard.  I remember there was a girl named Swayze on a True Life episode.  It was cringetastic.

    I love peppermint......peppermint bark, peppermint ice cream, peppermint candy. But I don't think Peppermint should be a name.
