Pregnant Questions
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I am in the middle of week 16. Feeling pretty darn good. I am just having digestive issues
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I had my 16w appt on Monday, it was pretty uneventful. My OB took out the doppler and found the heartbeat. I do this myself every few days, so it was not a magical moment for me. I did find out that I get to do the anatomy scan in 18th week if I want, which I am so doing. I am anxious to find out the gender.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? I am signing my job employment papers for real full-time status (I have been a contractor for 3 months). Then I get to tell them I am pregnant (still freaking out about this a little bit).
4. Monday confession? I need to gain weight apparently. I am not sure what else to eat. I feel like I eat all the time.
6. Did you do the GD test? Which one? Why (if you thought about it)? ?fyziksgirl I think I have to do one, since I am a FTM. I don't know which it will be. I assume the 1hr test.
7. Recommend your big diaper bag- I will have 2 in cloth so I'll need something roomier than the one I currently have. ?TacticalTurtleneck ??
8. When you planned for long distance relatives visiting after baby arrives, are you asking them to come back to back, or giving yourself a week or so of alone time in between visitors (given that everyone wants to come at once, but I don't have the patience/accommodations/desire for that. ?Orca11
I think I will ask mine to come back to back with a few days of recovery time in between. Better yet, I would rather they come a few months after the birth. But we shall see what they decide to do.
9. I?m not going to find out the sex of this baby. Wondering what other mommies are doing to prepare for the baby as far as clothes etc?. I don?t want a closet full of yellow clothes. Are some of you waiting until the baby is born to buy most clothing? I was thinking of saving money and then shopping after the baby was born. (but I know I won?t be doing anything for a while!) -abrismum I am not going to be surprised.
10. Questions for next week? How do you make sure you are on track re weight gain? I gained several pounds in my first 12 weeks, but that was around the holidays, and then in the last month, I lost 2. My OB is not pleased.

4. How do you make it through the 2WW? ?Requires Exhalted I found that charting gave me something to obsess/focus on. Plus I only had a 12 day wait, so it wasn't quite so long

Pregnant Questions
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I am 27 weeks and I all of the sudden feel huge. We had a big growth spurt in the last month. My Dr wasnt concerned but it freaked me out a little.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I had my 28th week appt on Monday where I had my 1hr GTT, Rhogam shot and Pertussis shot. I fasted after breakfast and had the blood drawn at 3:00, so yeah, I passed out and it sucked. I hope I don't have to go back for the 3hr.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Just getting through another week. I like crossing weeks off the calendar.

6. Did you do the GD test? Which one? Why (if you thought about it)? I just took the test on Monday. It was the 1hr, and it is standard procedure at my OBGYN. Did you mean what flavor? Fruit Punch...it wasn't that bad going down, the sugar rush and crash were brutal though.
7. Recommend your big diaper bag- I will have 2 in cloth so I'll need something roomier than the one I currently have. ? I haven't put it to use yet but I got a Stevie Baby Bag from Kate Spade. Beware, the Stevie Baby Bag comes in many designs and more than one size and it is only noted in the dimensions listed on their website, (not anywhere as sm,md,lg). I got the largest one available. I think it will be fine!
8. When you planned for long distance relatives visiting after baby arrives, are you asking them to come back to back, or giving yourself a week or so of alone time in between visitors (given that everyone wants to come at once, but I don't have the patience/accommodations/desire for that. - My in laws live in town so we are really only talking about my parents. We will call them after I am admitted so that they can decide when they want to start driving from PDX. We will hide-a-key and they can hang out at our house until we are ready for visitors at the hospital or until we come home depending on how my labor goes. They know that if they want to stay longer than that that they will get a hotel for a few nights and they only expect to come by for a few hours at a time around brunch or dinner time to bring us food, help pick up, hang with the baby for a LITTLE BIT and then go back to the hotel. We are going to play it by ear after the first few days. My dad will probably go back home and if I want her there my mom will move into the guest room for a little while longer, but they know that we may need more alone time and they are cool with it. My mom will probably come back up to stay week 3 or so. I'm actually more concerned with people in town wanting to come over all the time!

TTCing Questions
5. This may have been asked before.. But did you use Clomid? If so, did it work? On what cycle and at what dose? I did clomid with an IUI. It worked on the second cycle at 50mg, but I miscarried that pregnancy. I used to think it was a bunch of hooey that you needed to be monitored while on clomid, but I am convinced that my mc was due to a thinned lining from the clomid. When an OB or RE monitors you they not only look for how many mature eggs are developing and set to be released, but also how thick your uterine lining is and if it can support healthy implantation and growth. Femera is supposed to do much the same thing while not thinning your lining.
