Long over due thank you and update

Hey mamas!  Congrats to you all on the birth of your babies.  It's been awhile since I have posted here and just wanted to give you an update on Willa.

She came home on January 20th after 109 days in the NICU.  We are thrilled to have her home.  She is doing very well.  We are still constantly working on eating.  That is the only thing that held her up in the NICU.  She has bad reflux and just doesn't have much interest in eating most days.

I also want to express a very big thank you to those of you who contributed to the gift card that was sent to us.  We were so fortunate to have many friends, family, and co-workers help us out in the same way.  After seeing some of the other families in the NICU, my husband and I decided there were people much less fortunate than ourselves and decided to give some of the gift cards away to other families.  We did this anonymously.  So i just want to let you know that on Christmas day we gave the gift card from the Bump girls to a family with a daughter in the NICU.  The family lived 5 hours away from the NICU and had two other children at home.  I hope you all don't mind, but I know they could really use the money for their travel expenses.  Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for the update!  Your little Willa looks amazing!  What a great feeling to be able to finally take her home with you.  You have all come a long way since those first days.  I am glad that you were able to help another family at Christmas time as well.  You have a very generous heart and Willa is blessed to have you as a mother.  Here's to a great first year for your little girl and your new family!
