DD is never consistent. Sometimes she eats 6oz, sometimes 4oz, sometimes 2oz, or anything in between. We always just make 2oz (except first thing in the morning because she always4+) and make more as needed so we don't waste a lot. I started keeping track of how much she eats per day and she always eats a normal amount (20-25oz/24 hours) so pedi said not to worry.
