My MILs middle name is Leona. She despises it so I always joke with her about how I'll name my next born Leona in honor of her.

Leona however is now starting to actually grow on me because we discuss it so much...lol.

At this point it's still NMS, but I don't love it or hate. It's easy to recognize, spelled right, not ridiculously popular and gender appropriate so I'm okay with it!

Ah, I like Leona. And I agree, I think it goes well with Evelyn. Leona is one of those names that I think just might gain recognition soon.

I know a Leona IRL. She's kind of quirky, so that's the image I get. But I like the name, it's just not anything I'd ever use.

Objectively, I think I like Leona. I went to middle school with a Leona though and she was a b!tch, so I would never ever use it.
