Dehydration

I have TB to thank for recognizing signs of dehydration in Mila yesterday. Even though she's had plenty of wet diapers, I noticed that the soft spot on top of her head was sunken. I nursed her like crazy and topped her off with bottles after every feeding and the spot has filled in. I wouldn't have known about the sunken spot being a symptom of dehydration if I hadn't read about it here!

    My son always has a sunken soft spot, I brought it up to my pedi and she said it was because he has a bigger than normal one. I told her that I was also looking for drool as well as wet diapers and she said that was great. Also, the soft spot sinks in sometimes when they sit up for longer periods.
