Tell me this is just one of those phases
And I will take any advice to help deal with it. DS keeps spitting out his food and drink. He will be happily eating something he likes, and then make a weird noise and then spit what he is eating out. He will also do this when he is drinking. I was talking to my SIL and my niece who is 5 weeks younger than DS has been doing this too, so I am guessing it is a somewhat normal toddler behavior. It just makes me nuts. Any help?

It's a phase. DS will often spit drinks out of his mouth. Yesterday I was changing a poopy diaper and he was drinking milk out of his sippy. He spit a whole mouthful out and it was all over his face and in his eyes.
DH walked in the door a few minutes later and DS went up to him and the first thing out of his mouth was "Daddy. Milk. Eyes." Hahaha
