Two Under 2

Looking for a reality check...

My daughter will be 8 months in a few days and I am 99.99% sure I am a few weeks pregnant with number 2! I am of course excited and feel blessed. However, I just started a job in a pretty demanding job/career.

I just feel guilty/bad - that I will be telling them at the 3 month mark when I will only be here at a total of 4 months at that point.

My husband says who cares, its just work and you dont owe them anything and I feel like I will be letting them down.  I work in sales for advertising so the pace is fast and there is a ton of work to be done.

I am just freaking out a little so if there any anyone out there with some advice or words for me, I would love to hear them, Thanks.

  • I understand your concerns, but ultimately your family and your health are the most important things. So as PP said, but your butt while you are able to work, be flexible with your company where you are able, but don't put your health or baby's health at risk if there is something you need to tend to. For instance don't push yourself to keep working if you have to go on bedrest. Even if your company isn't understanding, ultimately your kids are for life and most jobs are for a few years.
