She may not be even reading emails or cards yet, she may have hundreds to go through which is so emotionally draining! 

Courtney may have a memorial idea already, and wouldn't it be great if she had the money to pay for it because of your gift?

This was a global story, not just a bump story.  She probably has at least a 1000 cards to go through.  I am sure her town, which was very supportive, is planning to memorialize Tripp in a permanent fashion.  This should be taken into consideration.   Lilbit has a lot on her plate so no one should fault her for sending the money.

The fact that they have not reply to us is a sign that they have way too much  on their plates and it would be wiser to just let them be.
