Can you tell that my parents are asking me for a bday list with all these posts?
Anyway, I've debated getting an ebook reader. I'm not a huge reader - only 1 book a month or so, so I'm not sure if it's worth it? I'm not concerned about it not looking like the pages of the book because I've seen how real they are. Are books a lot more expensive on there than on Amazon? And I heard you can share books on there? How does that work? Pros? Cons?
If you're pro-book-reader...which one do you like?
Re: E-Reader vs Real books? And if so, which one?
Books are actually less expensive on an e-reader--costs less for the publisher. I love the instant factor--I decide I want a book and in a few clicks, I've bought it and can start reading it immediately.
I have a Kindle-just a regular one- and am really happy with it. I'd definitely recommend getting one.
This is a good thread I saved on how to check out library books on an e-reader.
I don't have an e-reader, just e-reading apps on myipad. I prefer the Kindle app. Most of the people I know who have e-readers have Kindles and love them.
My dad has a nook, and he really likes it but mainly uses it as a tablet rather than a reader.
I have realized this response is not very helpful.

I have a Kindle and I love it. Yes, some books are more expensive, but a lot aren't. Some paperbacks I can find at Walmart for cheaper, but they don't have a very big selection. I used to buy a lot of my books off half . com, but by the time you pay for shipping it almost evens out.
I've checked out several online books from my local library (like the next book club book) and it's way cool. And free!
