while Mama goes out for drinks and dinner with the girls!

I'm leaving DH with way too much breastmilk and he will be doing bath and bedtime on his own. I know he is COMPLETELY capable of handling all of this, but I feel so weird knowing how long I'll be away from LO...the only other times I have left her have been to get a quick haircut and to attend hospital appointments to discuss having my gallbladder removed. Otherwise, we are a take your baby everywhere kind of family, mostly because we have no family around and have no opportunity to leave LO with anyone else (and it certainly helps that we live in England, where babies are welcome in pubs). I am super excited to have adult conversation that doesn't involve me constantly breaking eye contact to check on how my LO is doing with breastfeeding, though!

We're the same way...no family around. We try to do H.H. once a month while the other watches the kids. It's liberating. You H will get into the swing of things in no time.

Thanks! I'm home now and all went well--I had a fantastic night out!! LO is fast asleep and Daddy has a new appreciation for how much I do while he is at work!
