Late Term and Child Loss

~*Roxy*~

I just saw your blog post, and I just wanted to send my love to your neighbor.  I think that giving them food or flowers is always a wonderful gesture that won't step on any toes.  I also hope that hearing of your pregnancy won't be too hard because you've been there.  I personally love to hear about rainbow babies, although it may take her a month or two to feel that way.

Re: ~*Roxy*~

  • Thanks, hun. I feel terrible for them. I know much of what they are going through, yet, somehow I don't know how to react. They are Hindu and I know with their religion, they don't have the same beliefs as us (i.e. angel, etc). I have an angel wing necklace I was going to give her - but now I don't think it is right. I was going to make them food, but I know there are certain foods that are against their religion to eat.

It is such a helpless feeling....

    (((hugs))) Miss you!

  • I completely understand feeling helpless, when my friend lost her twins shortly after we lost Peyton I knew all too well that I nothing I could do would ease her pain... but we have been able to lean on each other, and that has helped us both.
