I'm thinking it's finally time to put away the playmat (she doesn't actually play under it anymore but sometimes plays with the hanging toys) and instead get some kind of activity table, so she can start practicing standing up more. I'm thinking either the Leap Frog one or the Fisher Price one? Does anyone have one they would recommend?
Re: Activity table?
We have the LeapFrog Learn N Groove Activity Table and although I have none to compare it to, I am very happy with it because DS loves it! There are a lot of things to keep him occupied plus it's the perfect height now that he's standing. The only downfall for us is that he always tries to pull himself up on everything, and this is not sturdy enough to withstand his weight, so he's fallen backward with the table coming on top of him a couple of times (when he was trying to pull up). I doubt other tables would stay standing though. Here's a link:

We have a fisher price musical table that we got at Goodwill for $4. It's an older model with differen things on top than the new ones but I'm sure it's pretty much all the same. C really likes it.
I like that it has removable legs so she has been able to play with it while she's sitting on the ground.
It's also the perfect height with the legs on for her to play with when she is in her doorway jumper.
ETA: I lied... it's a LeapFrog one.
B has this one from Baby Einstein. We both love it!
X has the FP one and he loves it. The only thing I don't like about it is that it will sometimes tip over as he is pulling himself up. My mom runs an in home baby sitting service and she has one that is similar to the link below, which he loved as well. I liked it al ot too because it didn't tip.

We have the Leap Frog Learn & Groove table and Nicholas LOVES it. It plays a ton of songs and talks in English and Spanish. He plays on it all the time. Plus it helps him practice standing.
